Adhan Alarm – Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 October 2026 · App: Adhan Alarm: Prayer Times (com.aminebeg.adhan)

Adhan Alarm is a prayer-times and adhan app for Android. In short: the app collects nothing, shares nothing, and has no internet access.

Data the app uses

Location (optional). If you tap “Use my current location”, the app reads your approximate location once to calculate prayer times. The coordinates are stored only on your phone. You can instead search for a city or type coordinates.

City names. To show a city name or search for a city, the app uses your phone’s built-in Android location service (Geocoder). That lookup is performed by your phone’s system services, not by the app.

Settings and sounds. Your settings and any adhan audio file you choose are stored only inside the app on your phone.

What the app does not do

• It does not request the Internet permission and cannot send data anywhere.
• No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking.
• It does not sell or share any data with anyone.

Permissions

• Location (optional): calculate prayer times for where you are.
• Notifications, alarms, full-screen alerts: play the adhan on time and show the Stop button.
• Foreground media playback, wake lock, vibration: play the adhan while the phone is locked.
• Run at startup: re-schedule the next adhan after a reboot.
• Battery optimisation exemption (optional): stop Android from delaying the adhan.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Android settings, deletes everything it stored.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
